AOI Inspection

The primary sources for (new) AOI equipment, are: CyberOptics, Omron, Orbotech, Teredyne,Vectron and Viscom. All offer systems designed specifically for printed circuit board inspection applications. AOI continues to be an evolving technology closely link to advancements image processing algorithms and high-resolution cameras. As end user demands for improved: off-line programming, post stencil print inspection, post placement inspection, post reflow inspection, character recognition, solder fillet inspection and reduced false-call error reporting are addressed, we will see more wide spread use of AOI.

X-ray Inspection

The primary sources for (new) X-Ray systems, are: Fienfocus, Glenbrook, Lixi, Teredyne and X-Ray Imaging Solutions. All offer systems designed specifically for printed circuit board inspection applications and are capable of identifying solder bridging, voiding and other.
