Electro-Comp tapes and reels millions of devices per year and many of these devices have fully automated taping solutions available. Parts packaged in tubes or JEDEC trays can easily be transferred to a carrier tape pocket by means of a vacuum pick and place system. Vacuum handling systems provide positive delivery to the pocket eliminating the potential for bent leads during taping.
